SALTFORK NATURE STONES

We are pleased to be able to offer original, one of a kind natural stone etchings and paintings by Wellington artist Jo Rita Henard.  These images are hand engraved on Texas gypsum rock slabs that have been taken from quarries on the Henard ranch.  Each stone is individually selected and prepared for the desired portrayal.  The selected stone is then uniquely etched resulting in a raised graphic image, which is then hand painted. Nature Stones specializes in Wildlife Art including whitetail deer, pheasant, ruffed grouse, prairie chicken, wild turkey, elk and quail. Portrayals for game fish such as Bass and trout can be ordered upon request.

  In addition to Wildlife Stone Artwork, the artist also creates images from the historic West.  Nature Stones are available which illustrate Native Americans from the Texas area as well as scenes from the American West.

Sizes of Natural Stones vary but average about 12"x16". Prices range form $250-300. Custom images available upon request.
